Delete your Trackpile account

You can delete your Trackpile account yourself, at any time, without contacting us. This page explains where the control is and exactly what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

In the Trackpile app or on the website, open Settings and scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom. Choose Delete account, confirm, and enter your password when asked. The deletion runs immediately — there is no waiting period and no separate request to submit. If you sign in with Google or Apple and never set a password, Trackpile emails a one-time six-digit code to your account address instead; enter that code to confirm.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to the account goes with it: your email address and display name, your password hash, every show, movie, game and figure you tracked along with watch status, ratings and reviews, and all active sign-in sessions including their stored IP address, device user agent and derived country and city. Nothing is kept in a recoverable form, so deletion cannot be undone.

Export first if you want a copy

Settings has an Export option that downloads your tracked data as a file. Do that before deleting if you might want your history later — once the account is gone we cannot restore it.

What we keep, and for how long

We keep no personal profile after deletion. Ordinary server logs may briefly contain a request's IP address as part of running and securing the service; these rotate out on their own and are never used to rebuild a deleted account. Records we are legally required to retain, such as billing records for a past Plus subscription, are kept only for as long as the law requires.

Need help?

If you cannot reach Settings for any reason, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
