Getting started
What is Trackpile?
Trackpile is a personal tracker for the shows and movies you watch, the games you play, and the action figures you collect. One account and one place, instead of a separate app for each.
Is Trackpile free?
Yes. Tracking your shows, movies, games, and figures is free, and so is exporting your data. A paid Plus tier is planned but isn't available yet.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Your watch history is tied to your account so it syncs across every device you sign in on. You can sign up with an email address, or use Google or Apple sign-in.
What can I track?
Shows and individual episodes, movies, games, and action figures. Each has its own tab, and everything lives in the same account.
Which devices does Trackpile run on?
Trackpile runs in any modern browser today, on desktop and phone. Native iOS and Android apps are on the way.
What languages does Trackpile support?
Twelve: English, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), and Chinese (Simplified, Traditional, and Hong Kong). Change it any time from Settings.
Moving from another tracker
Can I import from TV Time?
Yes, if you already downloaded your TV Time export. Go to Settings, then Data, then Import from TV Time, and upload the export zip — it brings across your watch history, the shows you follow, your custom lists, and your movies. TV Time shut down on 15 July 2026 and its export portal went with it, so this only works with a zip you saved before then.
Can I import from Trakt or another tracker?
Not directly yet. TV Time is the only third-party import today. If you can get your data into Trackpile's own backup format, the restore path below accepts it.
Your data
Can I export everything?
Yes, at any time, from Settings, then Data, then Export data. You choose what to include, and get a single JSON backup of your followed shows, watched episodes, movies, and lists. There's no limit on how often you export.
How do I restore a backup?
Go to Settings, then Data, then Import data, and pick the file. Merge adds the backup on top of what's already there; Replace clears the account first and restores only the backup. It works into any account, including a brand-new one — which is also how you move your history to a different account.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from the Danger zone at the bottom of Settings. It asks you to confirm and to enter your password — or, if you sign in with Google or Apple and have no password, a one-time code emailed to you — then removes your account and its data. Export first if you want to keep a copy.
Do you sell my data or run ads?
No. Trackpile doesn't use your data for advertising and doesn't sell your personal information. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
Catalog and data sources
Where does the show and movie data come from?
Shows, movies, artwork, and air dates come from TMDB, with anime sourced from AniList — it splits seasons and cours correctly, which TMDB doesn't. Game data comes from IGDB.com, with some artwork from SteamGridDB.
Where does the figure data come from?
Figure entries come from publicly listed product information, and the catalog keeps growing. If something on your shelf isn't in it, add it by hand — entries you create work just like the rest.
A show, episode, or game is missing or wrong. Can you fix it?
Show, movie, and game details come from the upstream catalogs, so corrections made there flow through to Trackpile on the next refresh. If something looks wrong on our side — a figure entry, a bad match, a duplicate — email [email protected].
Why do episode air dates sometimes differ from another site?
Air dates are the ones the catalog records for the show's origin country. A local broadcast or streaming release in your region can land on a different day.
Sharing
Can I share what I'm tracking?
Yes. A list can be shared with a link that anyone can open without an account. Your account and watch history stay private unless you share them yourself.
